Conservation in Practice
We work alongside landowners to build resilient ecosystems through applied ecology and adaptive management.
Request a ConsultationWhat We Do
Invasive species like privet and kudzu can make a landscape unusable for both wildlife and recreation. We use prescribed fire, mechanical removal, and targeted treatment to restore function to your land.
We design and install native plantings scaled to your property and goals, from residential gardens to large conservation plantings that support pollinators, songbirds, and regional wildlife.
From wildlife population monitoring to habitat suitability assessments, we bring field research expertise to bear on real land management decisions.
Who We Are
ReWild LLC is a Birmingham-based conservation land management company serving landowners across the Southeast. We work alongside our clients to improve their land for both wildlife and the people who use it, using applied ecology and adaptive management to get results.
But our work goes beyond removing invasives and installing native plants. We believe the best stewards are the ones who know their land intimately. They look forward to the arrival of the wood thrush every spring, notice when trilliums push up through the leaf litter, and know that deer need browse and cover to make it through the cold months. Aldo Leopold called this a land ethic: the idea that people are not separate from the land but part of it. We want to help our clients develop that relationship.
We don't just consult. We do the work. From prescribed fire to native plant installations, we're boots on the ground alongside you through every step of the restoration process.
How It Works
We meet you on the land, assess existing conditions, identify your goals, and begin building a shared vision for the property.
We develop a detailed, science-based management plan, a clear roadmap that takes the guesswork out of restoration.
We do the work or guide you through it. Either way, we stay engaged to ensure the land responds and thrives.
